Tree fallers are certified according to the BC Faller Training Standard. This challenging certification is invaluable for developing the skills necessary for safe and effective falling in this hazardous occupation. Utility arborists prune and remove trees in close proximity (three meters or less) to power lines. Certification for this trade develops competency and the skills needed to maintain a safe working standard for our staff and deliver the highest quality tree services to customers.

Trees are an amazing plant, growing in over 60 thousand species worldwide and producing oxygen vital for the life of our planet. Canada’s boreal forest contains over 552 million hectares and creates habitat for thousands of forest dwelling species, including birds, mammals and ungulates. But like all plants, trees need management and care, especially as the stress of climate change and deforestation continues. It is vital we maintain healthy trees when possible through pruning, limb removal, appropriate fertilization, and disease control. Safety can be an issue with larger trees as inclement weather or age may cause damage to heavy branches that fall in populated areas. We offer limb removal, crown reduction (or tree topping), and trimming services that keep our neighborhoods safe and our trees healthy.
